Position: Respiratory Therapist 

Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care, one of the leading providers of in-home therapy services to medically-fragile children, is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist in the Marietta area. Sign-on bonus and/or relocation assistance available! In this role, you will provide ongoing education to parents of patients with high tech equipment or complex respiratory diagnoses and will serve as a liaison between the patient and other members of the Health Care team. Will perform testing and preventative maintenance on respiratory equipment in patients residence and will instruct patients, caregivers, physicians and physicians staff on the proper use of respiratory equipment. Full time. Will take rotating on-call. Responsibilities: Participate in Improving Organization Performance process as needed. Instruct patients, caregivers, physicians and physicians staff on the proper use of respiratory equipment and necessary cleaning requirements. Deliver/pick up equipment and/or supplies to patients homes as necessary. Coordinate and monitor patient care according to clinical program. Formulate appropriate plan of care based on patient assessment and coordinate visits with RT assistant. On call is required in the role. Qualifications: RRT or CRT meeting the National Board of Respiratory Care requirements. Valid state of Georgia Respiratory Care license. Valid Georgia driver’s license. Must be able to pass MVR check. Responsible for delivering specialized respiratory and other equipment to pediatric patients. Must possess good people skills. Must enjoy working with children. The Annual Volley Ball Tournament has taken a Hit this year with intentions of Ready Position in 2020 to Set the starts of Respiratory Care Week.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is providing: 1) background information on the forms of e-cigarette products, 2) information on the multi-state outbreak of severe pulmonary disease associated with using e-cigarette products (devices, liquids, refill pods, and cartridges), and 3) clinical features of patients with severe pulmonary disease. This health advisory also provides recommendations for clinicians, public health officials, and the public based on currently available information.
